After 20+ years, The Covesville Store is changing from an antique store to an auction house that specializes in antique, art etc. Basically, the same type of stuff but the format is changing. There will be an online auction Sunday evenings. Starting in January, the building will be open Saturday, Sunday & Monday for preview, pickups & dropping off consignment. We already have a lot of people wanting to consign & sell us things for the auction. For more info, check out www.centralvaauctions.com. It seems like some people are excited & some people are disappointed. We think it will be a lot of fun & the vast majority of our customers will love it. For those of you who like the “store” experience, our other larger store, Tuckahoe Antiques, is loaded with great stuff ready to purchase.
We are looking for folks to take photos, type descriptions & put together auction listings. Hours & days are flexible. No experience is necessary, but we need people with a lot of energy.
